Plaintiff was pulling his boat early one morning in 2010 that he used for his seafood business and defendant drove into the back of his boat causing significant damage to it. Defendant was unable to see clearly duing the early morning hours on the causeway in Mobile. Plaintiff’s boat suffered severe damages. Plaintiff was out of work for several weeks and lost the use of his boat, income and sustained other monetary damages.

A settlement was reached with the tortfeasor’s insurance company in 2011, Allstate, for a total of $29,000.00 in compensation.
